It is also home to one of the most popular tourist attractions, the Jeonju Hanok Village. Layton and Natalie are here to take us around the city and show us the cultural side. 

Places to Visit

  • Gyeonggijeon Temple 

    Gyeonggijeon Shrine was built in 1410 and displays a portrait of King Tae-jo, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty, along with him and his wife's mortuary tablets. The original structure was partially destroyed during the Imjin War but was remodelled in 1614.

  • Jeonju Hanok Village

    Jeonju Hanok Village is one of the most beautiful villages where one can not fail to get a sense of authentic Korean culture. This is a must visit place in Jeonju.
