Welcome to Island of Lewis and Harris, Scotland 
With Dane and Stacey, we are about to explore the largest island of Scotland, Island of Lewis and Harris. This island is a beautiful contrast of the north and south part only separated by a chain of mountains. Playful landscapes, alluring beaches, mysterious black houses and the local gin is what completes the island, making it a must visit spot in Scotland. 

Places to Visit

  • Port of Ness

    Located on the Island of Lewis, is a beautiful and picturesque village paved with small art businesses including potteries, art galleries and iconic photography.  

  • Butt of Lewis

    The butt of Lewis is the most northern point of Lewis enriched with hills and cliffs that rise upto 60-80 feet high and an easily spottable lighthouse. It is known as the windiest place in the UK offering a view of the endless ocean.

  • Blackhouse Village 

    Blackhouse village is a quaint cluster of stone cottages built in the 1800s and located on the hilly region of the island. The houses got its name from the traditional way of burning fire inside the house, that turned the houses into hues of the color black. 

  • Luskentyre Beach 

    Luskentyre is one of the most spectacular beaches on the island, modelling for thousands of travel magazines. Along with the ocean view, it also provides a scenic view of the sand dunes that run along. 

  • Callanish Stones

    Erected in the Neolithic era, Callanish Stones are an arrangement of standing stones placed in a cruciform pattern with a central stone circle and were used for performing rituals and ceremonies.
