Welcome to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia
Often known as KK, Kota Kinabalu is the capital city of Sabah in Malaysia and is partially covered with natural and mesmerizing rainforests. The city unfolds a diverse range of boardwalks, beaches and bustling markets and the famous waterfront Blue Mosque. The city is also a home to the famous Mount Kinabalu which offers a picturesque view of nature. 

Places to Visit

  • Tanjung Aru 

    Tanjung Aru in Kota Kinabalu is a sub-district in the city. The area is particularly famous for its beach and has a title of its own township. 

  • Masjid Bandaraya (Blue Mosque)

    Popularly known as the floating mosque or the blue mosque of Kota Kinabalu, the Masjid Bandaraya is one of the most famous mosques in the country. Overlooking the port, the mosque is an architecturally astounding site with a blend of Islamic style and a modern flow style, for the people who visit it to worship or just as a tourist attraction. 

  • Mount Kinabalu 

    Located on the west coast division in the city of Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Mount Kinabalu is a listed UNESCO world heritage site gloriously protected by the national park. The mountain is the highest mount in the entire city and stands mystically offering its visitors with a variation of flora and fauna. One can not fail to find the abundance of biodiversity making a famous hotspot for people from all around the world. 

  • Langanan Waterfall

    Langanan waterfall is a 120 metre high waterfall making it one of the largest in the city. The waterfalls graciously hit the rocks and are surrounded by an abundance of trees and natural habitats. On the way to the waterfall, one can find other sites such as a smaller waterfall known as the Kipungit waterfall and the bat cave.
