Summary

Welcome to Cali, Colombia
Cali is also known as the city of Salsa and Colombian city in the Valle del Cauca department, southwest of Bogotá. Along with grooving to the music of salsa, we are going to visit the famous Cerro de Las Tres Cruces, La Emrita Church and the little town of San Cipriano.

Places to Visit

  • Hill of Three Crosses

Commonly known as the Cerro de Las Tres Cruces to its natives, is a weekend ritual for many Calenos who hike up on this hill and recharge themselves with a dose of energy, faith and good views.

  • La Ermita Church

Known for its Gothic style, La Ermita Church is the quintessential postcard image of Cali. This temple was built between 1930 and 1948, and the 18th century marble altar was brought over from Italy. It is the best place to spend a nice and sunny evening in the city.

  • San Cipriano

San Cipriano is a tiny town of 500 inhabitants and is a few hours drive away from Cali. The most common tourist activity in the town is to swim or bathe in the river. If you like a domestic beer perfectly combined with the local shrimps, this is the place for you.
